I get the issue with the cameracv driver as well as the camerauvc driver, but have been unsuccessful in getting the cameragst driver working.. As far as the camerav4l2 driver is concerned, I wasn't able to get it fully functional as it doesn't insert a default huffman encoding table into the header of the jpeg's but seems to be very similar in nature to the cameraUVC driver, I would imagine that it has the same problem.  I can't tell however because the frames cannot be viewed as jpegs..  Was this driver suppose to return  mjpeg or some other format?
I have tested it with two logitech cameras, with yours that makes three.  What did you do to work around the problem?
I think that I might start including the V4L2 mailing list on this thread to see if they can't come up with anything.

Which drivers have you tried?  I experienced the same issue when i used
a QuickCam5000 on a beagle-xm with the camerauvc driver.  However, i
didn't try camerav4l2, camerauvc, or cameragst.  Perhaps one of those
will give you better results?
