You can edit the /etc/modules file so that it does not load the pcmcia drivers. The gpios that control the pcmcia are manages in one of those drivers. From that file just remove pxa2xx_cs pcmcia ide-cs ide-disk hostap_cs There are also module that drive the wired Ethernet chip, usb, and sd (mmc) hardware in that file. ed c.=20 -----Original Message----- From: pla...@li... From my experiments, I could figure out that the power supply to the CF card is not being cut off.
