#85 pconfig.src not always read

When stats is called without a master config file, but
just with the playerdir, then the pconfig.src is not read.
I see that it goes okay when the main planetsdir is
given with -B.
It doesn't seem to matter if with -B the planets dir or
the game dir is given; both work fine.
