Planning Client Utils is a java project which mimics the functionalities of existing Planning Utilities like ExportSecurity.cmd, ImportSecurity.cmd and so on.

You can run Planning Client Utils from any machine which has an EPM product installed, by

• Installing Essbase Client
• Copy the following dll files from Planning Server
  • HspEssbaseEnv.dll
  • HspEssbaseGridAPI.dll
  • HspEssbaseMainAPI.dll
  • HspEssbaseMAXLAPI.dll
  • HspEssbaseOutlineAPI.dll
• Copy the planning common folder (default location is %EPM_ORACLE_HOME%/common)
• Copy loggingCLU.xml from Planning server (%EPM_INSTANCE%\Planning\planning) to %EPM_INSTANCE%\diagnostics\logs/loggingCLU.xml
