PlanetLab is coming back up. It will take a while longer
because we're completely re-installing the OS on every
node, but roughly half the nodes are back up at this point.
As I mentioned before, I expect the issues we saw the past
few days to be discussed on the planetlab-arch mailing list.
Please join that list to follow the discussion.
Also, you can read an overview of the latest software running
on PlanetLab (version 2.0) by following the obvious link on
the PlanetLab home page.
Finally, you can start creating dynamic slices for your projects,
although not all the nodes are available to be assigned just yet.
You can get to the "dynamic slices" page either by following the
"GUI interface" link on the 2.0 overview page, or by going directly
to
www.planet-lab.org/db/slices
You'll need to log in. Warning: we haven't completely purged links
to the old static slices from the web page; please ignore them and
go directly to the dynamic slice page using the URL given above.
