There are some machines in which this happens even if everything is setup correctly, and it is obviously a bug. I've already identified planetlab1-6.cs.berkeley.edu as nodes with this problem. If you expect to be able to and it works on other machines, please email PlanetLab Support with the hostname so we can check it out.
