We are just rolling out a new PlanetLab node installer and the newly
installed nodes only have the dynamic slices (you wouldn't have been
able to login using the "static" ogi6).  The nodes that have the
dynamic slice implementation will grow over the next few weeks until
all nodes covered.

Thanks for your help. Bummer about glibc.

I'm going with the "dynamic slices" idea for now. Using the web=20
interface, I see a list of a few (40ish) nodes I could assign to my=20
dynamic slice. The OGI nodes aren't on the list either.

Why are some on and some aren't?

Hmm, 40 nodes might not be enough for me, maybe I should start banging=20
my head on homedir glibc.
