Version 1.0 of PlaceMint was released on Sept 21. In addition to that great achievement for the project, there is more great new.

PlaceMint is now being listed on Softpedia and has been given their 100% seal of approval.

With the new release (v0.3), it is possible to swap windows between slots via hotkeys. Pressing the hotkey assigned to Slot A while the mouse is over Slot B will cause the windows in these two slots to switch positions. This is an alternative to Drag & Drop Swapping.

The first public beta is officially here. Please try out the beta and give feedback on what you think in the forums. There is some documentation about how to configure the window groups in the wiki section.

Everything has to start somewhere and this is where PlaceMint starts. PlaceMint is currently being developed and is not yet ready for distribution.
