Pablo, The Intel Pro/Wireless 2200BG worked for me when running XP. However it did need some tweaking. I don't know about Ubuntu, but on XP the Placelab NDIS network protocol driver had to be installed before the spotter would work. Instructions on its installation in windows can be found here<http://www.nabble.com/placelab-td7243877.html> . I also edited the apviewer and mapdemo example to get them to run on campus. Simplest way of demonstrating its operation. I hope it gives you less headaches than it gave me.
