What steps will reproduce the problem?
Trying to connect to a database with a service name.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I cannot input the service name.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Operating System: Ubuntu Karmic Koala
Netbeans v. 6.8

Please provide any additional information below.
Adding an option to enter directly the jdbc url would be the easiest fix.
