    I tried to make on snow leopard, and it chokes on scsi/sg.h
    perhaps a more portable library like libusb would work?

    Unfortunately I do not know too much about OSX. Someone should port the low-level scsi access.

    I don't have a clue how-to, but I'd love to see this ported to os-x. There is a gtk toolkit for os-x, so I suppose there's hope. I wonder if we could track down some other open source mac devs who understand whatever subsystem is proving most problematic.
