HDR problem

I've been away awhile (writing my own 3d software) so it's been some time since I've had a chance to work with Pixie in a good while. I was going through my old examples and found that hdr no longer seems to work. I looked all over the new wiki, but the example seems to be gone and also found nothing in the forum. This is my error:

    [richard@gateway hdr]$ rndr environment.rib
    environment.rib (41): Unable open environment "greenandblue.tex"

At first I thought it just wasn't finding the texture, but after editing my Options, it appears that's not the case; it seems to be a problem with loading the texture. The only thing I can think of is that the tex file is in an older format that doesn't work anymore in Pixie, or Pixie has a new way of doing hdr. Hdr could be broken somehow, but I doubt that I would be the first person to find that.

    Any ideas?

Here are the files that I'm using:

    My specs:
    OS: Linux
    Distro: Fedora 8

Oh, and I'm also using version 2.2.3
