Hi,
I just started testing pixie. Unfortunatly I get an error if I try to render a simple sphere (aqsis renders fine).
The error I get is:
$ rndr.exe simple.rib
.\simple.rib (3): Failed to open out device "file" (error: (null))
.\simple.rib (3): The module "PixieTemp_3656\file.dll" has missing implementation
Any ideas what's wrong with my installation? Path is correct, pixiehome is set correctly, at least I think so.
I try to use the current version 2.2.6 on windows 7.

Oh, yes of course. I use cygwin and used the cygwin path /home/haggi/pixie as PIXIEHOME what didnt work. I set it to the absolute path and it works fine now.

Looks like it can't find your file.dpy driver. What's PIXIEHOME set to? Make sure there's a file called file.dpy under %PIXIEHOME%\displays
