#1 Help, "Drag" mode, zone to magnify
Hello,
When I first launched PixAmp I wondered what it was
doing as I was expecting it to zoom the contents behind
my mouse cursor. I tried some options and found the
"Mode" one. I switched to "Follow" mode and I was
relieved, because I expect a magnifier to magnify... I
decided to switch back to the "Drag" default mode to
see how it worked... I tried many things to understand
what it was magnifying and I accidently dragged the
magnifier itself instead of the window... A black and
thick box appeared ! I understood if was the zone to
magnify... But would have never found it if I didn't
make that mistake.
So I see 3 solutions :
- Indicate how the tool works in a nice Help file, a
manual, a user guide... whatever :)
- Add a "Select zone to magnify" option or button on
the interface
- Display an informative message somewhere to invite
the user to drag the magnifier itself when in "Drag" mode
