While this seemed like a good idea and still does to us. We have both graduated and I have moved to Indonesia so our ability and interest on working on this has diminished significantly. If anyone would like to pick this back up and work on it please contact us.

As of Dec. 7, our project has become due. However, we have run into several difficulties and incompatibilities along the way. Therefore at this time Pirkey is non-functional. However, we do plan to continue development on our own time next semester. If you have any insight please contact us, particularly with accessing the IR port via the Old Serial Manager. We hope that Pirkey will be a very useful program in the near future. Our expected release date is December 1, 2001 for version 1.0.

Beta testing will hopefully begin a month before. If you are interested in beta testing, we recommend that you buy a webtv keyboard from ebay.com. We got ours for 3.99 + 4.50 s&h. You will also need a Palm OS greater than 3.1 compatible device.
