I think it should be weakened a little bit.  Oddly enough, if I enter full-screen mode and then go back to a window, it is weaker.  Anyway, where in the source code should I look to change it?

If you move it against the edge fast enough, it should break free. A 
slight edge resistance is deliberate, but it's implemented a bit 
crudely, so it may be too strong on some systems. Do you feel it ought 
to be weakened?
