Very nice! A few random comments, if you're after criticism (I see that 
many things are obviously unfinished, so you may already be aware of them):

- The lighting in the shaded areas of the railway station and in the 
house doesn't do justice to the nice modeling. You seem to be using just 
a constant ambient term, which makes everything look very flat. You 
really need more light sources in these areas, perhaps shadowless, or a 
global illumination simulation (radiosity or whatever).

- Elena talks too fast for me! :) Considering that I've never learnt 
Italian, it takes me longer to understand what she says than the text 
stays visible in the terminal... The upcoming text output support should 
help you improve this.

- I was really surprised when I saw your method of using 
hotspot-palette.gif as a hotspot map for navigation in the house. Is 
that intended as a temporary hack or as a permanent solution?

- I assume you haven't asked Cyan before taking their sounds? You should 
do that as soon as possible if you continue to publish previews of your 
work that contain them.
