Hi Christian, I try to reply....if I cannot to do this, I will contact gmane administrators. > the doors sometimes look a bit skewed, > is that a bug? Yes, the problem is that I cannot distort a square into a trapezium, but I have divided the trapezium into two triangle and one rectangle and after I distort them...you can see it as an approximation... This phenomenon is more visible on all horizontal lines, and disappear on vertical line (which remain vertical...) I've just upload a new version that it use textures for walls and floors (It's more heavier than previous: 6 MByte because the png) I've added also the possibility of show a map as an overlay. There are still a lot of things to do, but I am quite satisfied, Now I the graphics is a little better than semi-3D games of our infancy... isn't it? You can see the defect that you have noted overall on the external bricks wall, and on the skirting board in the rooms. For this reason I need a true method to deform an image, Otherwise to avoid the defect I have to pre-make all the possible trapezial distortion of every textured image... Do you have any other idea to make this? Ciao Andrea |
