For a few days now every time I stop the Qemu appliance
(I *always* do a clean "shutdown -h now") and then
start it again I do not find what I had done ! Everything is
lost...
Any idea what this might be due to ?
Thanks.
Sébastien

I start it with a small .bat containing:
~ cd "C:\Program Files\Qemu"
~ qemu -kernel-kqemu -L . -m 512 -redir tcp:2222::22 -redir tcp:8280::8180 \
~ -redir tcp:10100::10000 -redir tcp:61012::61012 \
~ G:\appliances\PIP_V01.qcow
The image is on an external HD that I can therefore use on different
places. It DOESN'T happen all the time I loose what I've done the previous
day; could it be related to the fact I use this image from different computers ??
Thanks.

I have no idea what is going on. That is exactly the command that everyone uses to launch PIP, and no one has reported data loss. I suspect it has something to do with the host disk and file system configuration rather than the guest.

What command are you using to start it up. Do you have a persistent disk?
