I have a Linux machine at home which is online 24/7. I'd like to run ABC on it (as a daemon), but only in console mode. The Linux machine doesn't have any GUI packages installed. I would then like to connect using a remote client (php4abc or something else, don't really care) to manage my torrents. How do I go about this?
I'm not new to Linux, but I am new to Python. I've installed Python2.3 and the dev package. I don't want to install wxPython as it'll (ofcourse) require X windows.
Running python abc.py gives me an error stating that the wx package can't be found. Is there any way that I can just run the webservice version, the only thing I really need?
Thanks for any replies,
Any update? I would like to run ABC on my fileserver which doesn't have any GUI packages installed and control it using php4abc.
I'm looking for the same thing as well. Any posibility of this happening?
Cheers and thanks,
