While in multi-ball mode one of the balls finished a
level making tux blink on the left. At the same time
that that happened, another ball had just hit the
blinking tux. The result was that the ball in the left
chute got stuck there. When the remaining 2 balls had
drained the last ball was still stuck up there and the
turn didn't end. Shaking the machine didn't work ; ).

I had the similar result but from a slightly different cause. All 3 balls converged at the base of the ramp in the upper left corner. One was launched straight up off the table and another ended up inside the right side of the Tux cave, the area with the 'T U X' lights. It was stuck right in the middle of the barrier and between the T and U. Bumping the bottom of the table resulted in the T and U being bumped (and scoring). The ball would not move left or right at all, never above the U, and would rest sightly above the T. Left and right bumps had no effect. The ball could not escape. Finally I tilted and the game ended, even though I was on my first ball.
The base of the ramp, especially the left corner of it ramp, seems to be a problem area. Several times I've seen balls hit this place and come to an abrupt stop, and/or change direction arbitrarily, and even launch straight up, leaving the screen for almost a full second before slamming back on to the table in the vicinity of the 'Jackpot' light.
I'm running it on a customized Clevo D900K, all Taiwanese language seems to have been purged from the system, seems to be completely American English. 2.4GHz AMD Quad Core 64-bit (Athlon?), 2GB RAM. I have many other games installed.

Me again, same configuration. Two balls converged on the 'EXTRA' kicker. The attachment shows the result. It won't move. Hitting it with the other ball doesn't do anything. Bumping the table is also ineffective.
I too just experienced a stuck ball in the left cave, during multiball play. Version 0.3.1-13 on Ubuntu 10.10.
Happily this sort of thing happens much more on a real pinball table :-)
Experienced the same bug...
I tried organize all sources here https://github.com/sergiomb2/pinball , any feedback is welcome
Great,
but again it would be desirable that we could build extra tables without duplicating main project
pinconfig was created that way.
This way developers can maintain their own tables separately.
As anyone tried this ?
