I worked on the PIMnet docs a bit, eliminating the integrated README as we'd discussed, and making the component docs independent. Some of the docs are still place-holders. For the first time there is a PIMnet web site (unless you count the old README.html). It is at: http://pimnet.sourceforge.net The web site on SourceForge contains the exact contents of the pimnet/docs directory from CVS. Some of these files are generated from DocBook sources stored as .xml files in pimnet/docs/src. Edwin, I stole your HTML design and mangled it somewhat. Let me know if anything bothers you, and I'll fix it. thanks, Jonathan |

hi... I've updated the contents of the pimnet/pmconduit/ directory with updates to the stylesheets for converting datebooks from SyncXmlDB format to PIMnet format. They are now complete for datebooks, but nonexistent for other databases. Also added a "webaccess" directory containing a CGI script "pimnet-calendar.py" which can read a PIMnet datebook file and create an HTML representation of it. This is the same as the script from the old PIMnet release, but ported to PIMnet format instead of SyncXmlDB format. Created a ChangeLog file in the pimnet root directory; let me know if there is any objection to this. Then I was working on README.xml updates explaining how to use the new stuff, when my hard disk crashed. I am now back online with a new hard disk. What I plan to do next: - write the README stuff again - implement conversion stylesheets for other databases, not just Datebook. Fortunately I think Datebook is more complicated than the others by far. cheers, Jonathan |

Hi, Changed the package names from 'palm.xconduit' to 'pimnet.xmlconduit'. Changed the copyright information from 'Edwin Dankert' to 'Cladonia Ltd.'. Checked in the source files and the library packages. There is no more mentioning of XConduit anymore, it is all XML Conduit from now on! Need to still update the specific AddressBook, TodoList, DateBook and MemoPad packages with install and uninstall functionality before I can check them in and create a new version! Will also investigate the 'index' field, further. Regards, Edwin |
