Hi, my name is Alberto Corbi. I know this mail list doesn't have to do anything with the PDA from Oregon called OS.pro, but I was wondering if you know about any team developing soft for linking this humble PDA with linux. I'd eternally appreciate any light! plese REPLY TO MY MAIL: i'm not in the list! best regards, alberto spain |

I am entering the world of Palm-Linux in an attempt to create a conduit to allow uploading of the Good Technology MP3 player that is plugged into my Visor. This effort is due to the lack of Mac desktop support by the vendor. Needless to say I run PPC Linux on a Mac platform. Has anyone else attempted anything in this area? Gil Scott Agoura, CA |

Hi there! I have some suggestions and questions: * Is the development still alive? The webpage is outdated, no place to get 0.9.5-pre4 * I suggest support for Memo32DB of pedit, I read that this is on the list of maybes or so. * file locking: It is a pain that most the tools build upon pilot-link, and that are all there in unix-world, don't do proper device locking. My suggestion is that the pilot-link suite do the proper locking, i.e. /var/lock/LCK..pilot, but this is a compile time option for the format as in a lot of different progs. The problem arises if I want to make mgetty listen on the pilot port for logins, or different proggies, ... Dear sirs Could anyone please comment the status of USB support for pilot-link (for Visor PDAs)? I could not find a word on this subject neither on your site nor in sources... Thank you in advance, Sergey V. Udaltsov |
