[pilot-db-list] 0.3.3 Release

I would like to make a suggestion:

Let us release a stable final 0.3.3 Version NOW

with 
- Float, List and Link fields, all of which seem to be stable, and
- the JFile and Mobile-DB Plug-Ins

but without: 

- VFS support and
- the calculated field.

We could add these in the final

****1.0.0 Version*****

which could be released before Christmas

We may have some Front-End DB-Spreadsheets by then too!

What a nice Chistmas Present that would be to everyone interested!

Stability is better that features.  Not everyone using this application is =
an advanced computer user.  I have found the fastest way to make someone di=
slike an application is to have it crash on them, even if they did somethin=
g wrong.  Many of the people I work with would love to get their hands on a=
n application like this, but they would delete it after the second or third=
 time it crashed on them.

This is a VERY GOOD application, but it lacks the stability that many peopl=
e will want the have.


Don't get me wrong.  I think you should still release snapshot update as th=
ey become available.  There are many people willing to help test (I'm one o=
f these people).  But the "Release" version should be very stable or you wi=
ll run people off.

Larry,

I must agree with Larry that stability is better than features.  I have used
both DB 0.3.1 and DB 0.3.2 heavily for quite some time, and I can't recall
either version *ever* crashing on me, even if I did something wrong!  I don't
think that I have simply been lucky.  This beta snapshot may still be unstable,
but I have confidence that the released version will be quite the opposite.  I
commend the developers for the rock-solid stability of their final released
versions, and I hope that it will continue.
