A few quick questiosn if I may

1) Is there anyway to merge two databases?

2) What language would you recommend to develop with pilot-db (interface libs etc)

I'ld export both bases to csv files and merge those, then create a new
Pilot-DB file from that.

The pdb2csv and csv2pdb scripts are on the Pilot-DB website.
Uwe Kloss has made an add-on to the Perl p5-Palm module which is coming
along very nicely.
Mike Meyer has a python script that synchs Pilot-DB bases to Postgresql
(which can easily be adapted to other DBs).
I've got a script that converts bases to sql format.
DB-Editor is a Windows app that lets you edit Pilot-DB databases.

Anybody else?

or not).

Would it take much work to create a palm library that could be called from onboardc quartus forth etc (probably the tidiest solution)?

That includes a dbfile module that exposes pilot-db files as Python
objects. I've created a dbfile viewer based on the same module, but
haven't had time to work on it.

Could pilot-db data be accessed in waba (e.g. http://www.superwaba.com)
using these libraries?
