As a lurker here and happy DB user I'd much prefer the latter.
It seems ... odd ... to use fixed directories. Also a plea from
a Visor user. I have an original Visor Deluxe with a MemPlug
(www.memplug.com) SmartMedia adapter. It includes VFS support
that is presently in beta but works quite well.
The problem I'm running into is that I'm on PalmOS 3.1 (in ROM
on Visors, not upgradeable). A lot of software that supports
VFS seems to require PalmOS 3.5 or even later.
Please stick with PalmOS 3.1 compatibility, other than the VFS
calls of course.
