Hi, Thx for the reaction. But i suppose I will keep on using my filemaker mobile. The thing is that the "search" option on the palm os is limited. Meaning: if I would like to search my database on the palm os, I can only search one field. Yet I would like to search different fields at the same time. For instance: within the field of author match 'gallese', within the field 'year' match 2004, within the field 'journal' match nature. All that is possible on the desktop (both in filemaker or in open source db soft). Yet, for some reason there seems to be no possibility to impliment that within Palm OS (due to the limited power of the processor?). I thought that open source might have had the alternative (all of this is not possible in filemaker mobile). But also open source has to little possibilities. If I would be mistaken, please let me know. I prefer open source soft, don't we all, but it simply must be good enough. And thx again for your help, both of you. Kind regards, Dirk. 2006/12/10, Dirk Vermeulen <dv...@ne...>: > > Hi sorry to interrupt: > > use JPilot-DB a java version of DB-editor and it works fine under OSX > > see: http://www.chickenshick.com/jpilot-db/index.php > > greetings dirk vermeulen > > > Op 9-dec-2006, om 3:27 heeft Michael Reich het volgende geschreven: > > > > > I should have mentioned that there doesn't seem to be an OSX > > version of DB-Editor.... > > > > > > Michael Reich > > > > ma...@ex... > > > > > > > > --- On Fri 12/08, Michael Reich < ma...@ex... > wrote: > > > > From: Michael Reich [mailto: ma...@ex...] > > > > To: dir...@gm..., pil...@li... > > > > Date: Fri, 8 Dec 2006 21:22:40 -0500 (EST) > > > > Subject: Re: [pilot-db-list] Pilot DB and syncing with desktop. > > > > > > > > Dirk, I'm not sure if I understand your question, but Pilot-dB > > synchronizes between Palm devices and PCs.
