I'm trying again to use Pilot-DB (version 1.1.3) on my Palm (running Palm OS 4.0), but I've run into a snag. My databases are such that they grow over the years slowly but without bound. Ultimately they will become too large for the Palm's memory so I try to keep only recent data on the Palm and archive the rest on my computer. The trouble is that although I created the databases in J-Pilot-DB, it cannot read the HotSync backups - it doesn't even acknowledge their existence as files even when "all files" is selected. From reading the websites, I have the impression that the palm-db-tools are very outdated. The computer is running OS X 10.4.6. Has anyone succeeded in accessing databases backed up from the Palm in Pilot-DB's current version? Thanks, Lenore |
