[pilot-db-list] Unknown DB type

All,
I have just loaded and compiled palm-db-tools on a UNIX server running 
solaris 9.

When I attempt to convert a pdb to csv I receive the following error.  I 
have tried several different pdb files.

/usr/local/bin/pdb2csv ../data/test.pdb ../data/test.csv

/export/sse/dmeyer/scripts/PDB/palm-db-tools/data/test.pdb: unable to 
determine database type

test.pdb is the palm db that I am trying to convert.

When I try to convert from csv to pdb I receive the following error:
  /usr/local/bin/csv2pdb -i ./metafile ../data/text.csv ../data/test.pdb
/usr/local/bin/csv2pdb: at least one field must be specified

Can you please help me to determine how correct this issue?
