Not from a first-hand experience, but I can tell you about Gal, who is my brother-in-law, and for whom I did most of the conf work regarding pilot-db. He uses it daily as a todo-list, much wider (in num of cols) than the builtin one and with quite many filters. It was quite slow on an m130, but a few months ago he moved to a tungsten T and he is happy with it. He has around 500 open tasks, and it's quite fast. His main problem(s) is Hebrew-support related, and does not happen on normal English work. It still might be a bug (maybe more than one) in pilot-db, but I did not have time yet to look at it. As far as I know, he never lost data, for around 1.5 years now. But I do push him to backup his data daily, just in case, and also recommend that to you. Good luck, -- Didi |
