Hi Jim, First, make sure filters are enabled by going into the menu: Options->Global Preferences->Actions and make sure 'Use filters when possible' is checked. Now, a popup menu appears in the 'list' view of the database. The menu is in the middle of the screen and at the bottom, and should say 'No Filter'. Click on this, then click 'Edit Filters...' Now you can define filters just as you define views. Click 'New' then define a filter just as you would search for a particular set of records. Once this has been done, you can re-run that search in the list view simply by selecting the appropriate filter from the popup menu. hope this helps -Scott > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including > Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now. > Download today and enter to win an XBOX or Visual Studio .NET. > http://aspnet.click-url.com/go/psa00100006ave/direct;at.asp_061203_01/01 > _______________________________________________ > Pilot-db-list mailing list > Pil...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/pilot-db-list > -- |
