[pilot-db-list] No hi-res fonts on Sony Clie T615C?

I'm using pilot-db 1.1.0B1. The instruction say when first used it
should've asked me if I wanted to use tiny fonts (it didn't) and even
though I click hi-res in the option, the fonts are still normal size. I
use small fonts with Datebk4. Do I also need to have special fonts
installed? Thanks!
