I tried your application, i like it and i will give you my=0D=0Apoint of = vue:=0D=0A - Java is slow.=0D=0A + Java works on every OS. (i will try th= is night on my Linux box)=0D=0A - you distribute a lot of packages and i = don't know what is=0D=0Athe good file to use it easily. Some of the packa= ges are very=0D=0Alarges, and my RTC line doesn't permit me to download e= verything.=0D=0A + after the application starting, it runs fast.=0D=0A + = the GUI looks like the Palm application for the icons ( i=0D=0Afind that = if the application keeps more parts of the Pilot-DB=0D=0AGUI, it will be = easier for the users but i'm not a good=0D=0Areference :).=0D=0A - the fi= rst starting. I didn't understand that i need to=0D=0Aselect a directory = and that i will see the databases inside=0D=0Athis directory. A good idea= is to ask the directory to use at=0D=0Athe first time and store the path= for the next using. (i=0D=0Ashould read the help file but i'm not patien= t).=0D=0A - i read the source code of the first version, i didn't=0D=0Aun= derstand the directories structure and i had a lot of=0D=0Adifficultes to= enter inside your source code.=0D=0A=0D=0AI think it's a very good tool = and we have two concurrents with=0D=0ADBEditor (+ Palm-DB-Tools). It's no= t a bad thing, jpilot-db=0D=0Aruns on every platforms and DBEditor are fa= ster. I think that=0D=0Ayour distribution is not clear. You have too many= packages,=0D=0Aand it's impossible for everybody to download everything.= I=0D=0Awill use it now (i work on Linux).=0D=0A=0D=0ASalut,=0D=0AMarc.=0A= =0AAcc=E9dez au courrier =E9lectronique de La Poste : www.laposte.net ; =0A= 3615 LAPOSTENET (0,34=80/mn) ; t=E9l : 08 92 68 13 50 (0,34=80/mn)"=0A=0A= |
