Gordon, next time you reset, follow the instructions from Hal, although it seems like removing your batteries should do the trick, I've heard that some parts of the memory may still be in an odd state, and not completely reinitialized. As for your error, I am not sure what the problem is. Did you download a database from the web to try out? If so, is the computer you hotsync to a pc, mac or linux box? The mac palm desktop seems to have some problems with db3 databases. Can you create new databases? Or doesn't that work either? Finally, I assume you are using db 1.1b1.
