If a Mac user here has found a workaround that allows us to still use 
all the Pilot-db field types, I'd love to hear it!!!!

(In my attempts to work around by using Jfile or MobileDB format 
databases, I found that I lost all the really useful field types.)

Installing the application itself is no problem, but it's of limited 
use if I lose all my databases (& have to recreate from scratch) next 
time my Palm Pilot goes kablooey.
