The /Palm/Launcher may tend to get crowded, especially if you have several databases and other programs that use it. The reference to "Palm specific files" things is primarily for the "Standard" palm application. It would be better to use /PALM/Pilot-db to reduce clutter and improve response time. But then again, it might not be too difficult to put the loaction into the Global Preferences for DB so that you could choose for yourself.
