[pilot-db-list] global search

I just installed the latest beta from sf and find that
the global search no longer works.
I checked the setting in global perfs and it was
check. Then I unchecked it and tried to recheck it but
was unable to. The other options under global perfs
work but for some reason "Enable global find support"
does not.
