[pilot-db-list] on the way: DB Conduit / windows / MS Access

Hi all,

there has been a lot talk about data import/export recently, so I thought i=
t was about time I made my intentions clear.

I am about to start developement of a *true* conduit for DB 0.3.3 (which sh=
ould be backwards compatible with 0.3.2).=20

A true conduit means:

Set it up once.
it runs when a hotsync is run (auto)
new records are added on palm OR pc and are replicated to both databases.
conflict solving (same record on both palm AND pc have been altered since l=
ast sync)
compatible with all current data types (including List, Link and float)
The conduit can create databases in access itself.
optional CSV and HTML output for export to other systems.

I will post something more on this list when there is more to talk about,
but until then, I have also created a yahoo group where more information wi=
ll be made available along with patches and links to downloads etc ...
