I am not sure what a conduit is, but if you are referring to an Access/Excel front-end with which Pilot-DB data can be edited, imported and exported, then the answer is yes, there is someone working on it. We will know more in 2 to 3 weeks. I Agree that a PC-Based Front-End is the *only* thing that is really missing at the moment, and that the no of people who will switch to Pilot-DB from almost *all* other similar programs will dramatically increase! However, in the meanwhile the Mobile-DB PC, A PC-Based Spreadheet program, wich is available free of charge, can be used, as long as the fields are *only* of the string-type. Marc is working on integrating the new Mobile-DB features, which include the types text, number, sequence, checkbox, date, time and list, into the Mobile-DB Plug-in, so that Mobile-DB PC could be used as a PC Front-End to edit all field types other than float and calculated. These databases would then be compatible to Pilot-DB. Hans |
