[pilot-db-list] Script Support

I've been thinking about the future of the scripting abilities in db, and
I realized that I made a few decisions that will significatly impact how
easy it is to extend the abilities of scripts.  I'd like to fix these in
the near future, but they will NOT be backwards compatable.  I assume
that I will need to take care of this internally, so that everyone's
databases don't break.  But if no one is using scripts for anything
other than testing at this point, I guess I'd like to know that too.
