The notes field really seems to be 2 fields - the note and the title, and
they should be stored separately. The first line of the note can't be used
by itself.

I think that there should only be the notes field, and that you should be
able to display 1 or more lines of the note on the screen.

Hm, I am not sure that I like this. The extended CSV format already 
allows for multiple line fields. (I hope you use a buffer that is 
large enough to hold lines containing notes. ;-) )

I think that's the best solution since it is easy to understand and 
also compatible to the memo app.
