[pilot-db-list] NS Basic

Sorry to sound obtuse, but here goes.
I am wondering if anybody has read the pilot-db databases with a program
written in NS Basic?  I am working with a developer that will only use NS
Basic
and expects to see a standard PDB file (whatever that is).  I thought the
program had to
interpret the data.

If I use Pilot-DB to created a pdb file, can I let the developer know the
file format
to expect, or does the pilot-db app only create files that the db-en.prg
program can read
on the palm?
