Depends on what you use to talk to your handheld - if you use the Windows desktop software, simply look for a backup directory under the directory where you installed the software - e.g. on my machine, all the handheld files are in C:\Program Files\Palm\RessleM\Backup. Replace "RessleM" with your user name. This assumes you set the database preference backup bit to "on". For example, I have a database "Dark Nebulae List"; it's in my Backup directory as Dark_Nebulae_List.PDB. If you use Linux, use the program pilot-xfer with the "-f" (fetch) option. Something like pilot-xfer /dev/pilot -f "Dark Nebulae List" You will be left with Dark Nebulae List.pdb in the current directory. Hope that helps a little. Mike -- Mike Ressler mik...@al...
