[pilot-db-list] Quick-Jump to specific rows

Hi!

I just had an idea for db. I tried to find a certain CD in my
CD database on my Palm, but I wasn't sure about the spelling.
So I wanted to move to the rows beginnig with the letter 'P'
(it's sorted by artist). The problem is that this database is
fairly large (almost 1700 entries) and it takes some time
to get there by scrolling.

What do you think of a function that allows you to jump to 
the first entry that starts with a certain letter that is
entered in the graffitti field when in list view?
(Sort of like pressing a letter in a Windows pulldown menu).

I think it should use the field that the list was sorted
by (or, if it's unsorted, the first field of the view).

Would such a function be hard to implement? What does everone
think about this? Would this be useful for anyone else?
