After re-R'ing TFM, I see the error of my way; I failed to install the sdk update (sdk35update1). DB now compiles ok. Now I've got problems w/ pilrc to work out. It won't compile on my Linux box; throws a bunch of token-pasting errors from the precompiler. I assume this is just more fallout from Redhat-7 and the bunged gcc it ships with because pilrc builds fine on my HP/9000 w/ gcc-2.95.2 (after removing trailing CRs from the source files). The only RPM for pilrc I could find is version 2.5, which the DB build doesn't like (TFM sez 2.7 is req'd). Guess I'll have to rebuild my Palm development environment over on the HP. -- Marty Bower On Sun, May 27, 2001 at 12:44:58PM -0400, Tom Dyas wrote: > On Sunday 27 May 2001 12:41, Marty Bower wrote: > > > I suspect that my prctools setup isn't quite right (as evidenced > > by the sdkfind warnings on every invocation), however I am able to > > build and run a HelloWorld. > > Read the file db/docs/building.txt which is included with the source code. > > _______________________________________________ > Pilot-db-list mailing list > Pil...@li... > http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/pilot-db-list |
