[pilot-db-list] Transfer DB to PC?

Greetings!
New to the Palm world - inherited a Palm, and so far I really like it.
(Had an old PocketPC that died)

LOVE the Pilot-DB! Does EXACTLY what I need! THANK YOU!!
BUT...
CAN'T seem to find any way of transfering created DB's to the PC!

In the Prefs, "Backup database at HotSync" has been selected;

After a sync, there is SOME sort of file located in:
Program Files - Palm - (user name) - Archive

But it in NO way resembles the name of the created database,
(a search on the PC shows the name of the database I created on the PALM
doesn't seem to exist at ALL - does this mean it never transfers with the
sync?)
it OPENS with DB-Editor,
but there are only SIX records - the one on my Palm has at least THIRTY so
far.

Q: How on earth do I access the REAL database I created on the Palm??
