#69 Postpone Out of Memory?

Is it possible to pre-allcate some unit of memory such
that it can be freed when error is received so that
there is enough to dump changed data to file? The dump
can be internal (ala Corel WP/MS Word) which can be
recovered when program restarts. This option can be in
db but not db-light.

Please consider that other apps can be leaking memory
and leading to a crash even when db is only editing
modest size objects. If DB warns me that it's
panicking, I can kill any apps and return to let it
exit as gracefully as possible. I would be more than
happy alloc'ing 100's of kB as "insurance" if my
chances would be even 50% of saving my data in case of
panic.
