It would be very valuable if fields of other db could be taken into account in calculated fields.

You can't do that with link field and calculated field, can you?

I have to agree. Although you can include a linked field
(say an exchange rate) from another database, you
    cannot use it in calculations.
If we could do this, it would significantly extend the
    functionality and capabitility of pilot-db.

    I couldn't agree more.
I have been using HandBase for a diet control and I need
to use values from a main products database to
calculate the total calories consumed during the day.
I have been trying to "move" to Pilot-DB, and I was
successful with my other databases, but I still have to
    keep this control with HandBase.
I'm looking forward to be able to use only Pilot-DB!
Is there a possibility of having this function in the
    program?
