#20 Link Field Functional Improvements
My request is complex, but specific.
Basically I would like to be able to click a button
from the linked field (not the field of type link)
that would create a new record in the database that
has a link field which returns the field with the
button ( sorry for the spiral logic).
Two potential solutions:
1- new field types ( linkabletext, linkableinteger,
etcetera)
2- linkable option for existing field types
the second option would be preferrred, but the first
is easier to implement
the button would be similar to the Note entry icon and
would store, or allow seletion of, the table and link
field which will store the new records
This is a beginnning to "link awareness" which has
been discussed to some degree in the forums.
