Version 1.0.1 will give a fatal exception with the
Handera and OS 3.5.3, when trying to open a new
database. This only happens with the J-File 3 or DB3-
VFS plugins installed and active. The plugins appear
to be the problem. The last version had a problem
with only the J-File plugin.

Can you tell me the database type do you use for the new
database?

I can second that. I installed the JFile3 plugin, now
whenever I tap a dragdown select box of plugins, it crashes.
Im not 100% sure if its actually the JFile3 plugin, but
since this user has encountered the same problem with
specifically the JFile plugin, then I guess that's it.
My setup info: Db 1.0.2, plugins: db-JFile3, db-MobileDB,
db-memoexport, db-colorselect, db-AddressDB.
Crash information:
Fatal Alert
TextMgr.c, Line: 844, NULL string parameter
Steps to reproduce:
Install JFile3 plugin. Create new database, tap 'Create
using' dropdown list. You can tape either the "* ->" or
"Create using..." option.
Cheers

Hrmm another problem. After I opened the 'New database'
dialog then tapped Cancel, when I press a hardware button
(the Memopad button in fact), I get a Fatal Exception error.
No text on what caused it, and the reset button cannot be
pressed. (needed warm reset)
Not sure if this is the JFile3 plugin's doing or not.

My apologies for the frequent posting, but I tried the
JFile3 plugin in my h330 POSE, and when I tapped the 'New
database' button, the emulator itself needed a reset. I
removed the JFile3 plugin, and it worked fine.

Ok there is a bug but the J-File plugin doesn't allow the
access to create a new database in this format. It just open
an existing database.

This also happens with the Palm 515 running Palm OS 4.1.
Both plugins still give fatal exception in vesion 1.0.3. The
address plugin also seems to be giving these problems.

I am also experiencing a fatal exception when trying to create
a new database with the Jfile3.prc plug-in installed. I am
using DB 1.0.3 with my Visor Deluxe and OS 3.1H. It's no big
deal not having the plug-in, but it was not obvious that the
jfile plug-in was causing the problem. FYI.
